The trek to Shree Kailash Mani Mahesh is a mix of gradual steep ascend ona rocky trail which follows the Budhal Nullah enroute. Manimahesh Yatra, The Lake also known as Dal Lake, Manimahesh. It is a sacred lake (elevation 4,080 metres (13,390 ft)) situated close to the Manimahesh Kailash Peak in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas, in the Bharmour of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. The religious significance of this lake is next to that of the Lake Manasarovar in Tibet. The lake is the venue of a highly revered pilgrimage trek undertaken during the month of August/September corresponding to the month of Bhadon according to Hindu desi year , on the eighth day of the New Moon period.
Bharmaur or Bharmour or the name Brahampura was the the capital of ancient kingdom of Chamba,.65 kms from Chamba is the land of snowy & abode of God Shiva & Gaddi tribal . Bharmaur known as Brahmpur in the 6th century, was the Capital of Chamba state for about four hundred years , till it was shifted to Chamba by Sahil Varman. Bharmour holds one of very old architectures left in India, basically the temples. These temples comprises the Chaurasi Temple Complex .

Officially will start on 30th August 2022 and ends on Radha Ashtami 14th September 2022 , registration and bookings are open . There is a stautue of Nandi melted in bronze which stands facing the Manimahesh temple. These idols are believed to be the work of master craftsman Gugga. There is a small water source called Ardh Ganda in a corner of the complex, bathing here is considered religiously significant. The place around Bharmour is regarded as belonging to Shiva and is that is why called Shiv-Bhumi. Cause of home of nomadic shepherds Gaddies it is also called as Gadheran.
